This is such a good idea! Thank you for the mention, Megan😊 I’m looking forward to connecting with other slow, intentional, living mamas and hearing about homeschooling journeys😄 my little one is only eight months old but I have been loving hearing from mamas who have done it all before me, or are planning to do the same🥰
Ah Megan, I so appreciate the mention here. Thank you. It’s such beautiful work you’re doing bringing together a sense of community for like-minded mothers here on Substack ♥️
I am a mom of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) artist, writer, and children’s book illustrator. Recently changed my business from a successful 25 year entrepreneurial journey to a slower, kinder to myself life.
Thank you for creating this space for us. Hello mommas, I am a writer, artist, and poet. Im currently days away from giving birth to my sweet and final baby. I will be posting more here after I soak in this special time.
Hello, all! I'm a Mom of two toddlers on the ASD spectrum from Mississippi, USA. I write about the lifestyle of creative and service-based online entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, and freelancers. Thank you for this space. My publication can be found at https://www.newsletter.cheniece.com/ (I also have a directory lol) and I'm always looking for my next podcast guest. I'm here for all of the connection.
Hey Cheniece! Welcome to our space! I love that you have a directory too! I just checked it out and can't wait to add my info (love that you added it to the top of your profile too- genius!
Megan, this is such a kind and brilliant idea! The internet needs more of this - women, especially moms, cheering each other on. I’m so glad to have met you!
Love this idea! I’m learning how to find the good side of slow here on Substack, going fast has been engrained into my life for a long time. Now that I’m a mom I realize how much better it is to slow down.
What a wonderful idea! I’m brand new to Substack but found myself here for the very reasons you and the other ladies on this thread are talking about. I’m a mom to an 8 month old little girl and I live in the mountains of Northern Colorado. I don’t see myself having a really specific focus on my page but I imagine many of my posts will be related to motherhood, slow living in the mountains, homesteading, and general millennial reflections. I’m really excited to be here and connect with more women!
So excited to have you here Caitlin! What Mountains do you live in? Excited to follow along with your work and Welcome to Substack😍 you're gonna love it!
We’re in Northern Colorado near Rocky Mountain National Park! We’re at about 8500’ - so we’re up there but still close to the Boulder/Denver metro areas.
Thank you for including me. Sometimes I wonder if I should be considered slow living; my internal self has a desire to keep rushing forward but I write mostly about coming to terms with how unsustainable that is!
Well hello and thank you for including me! Maybe my new email series about finding focus in the chaos will help some of you, it’s free to my subscribers and is coming out every other day.
Thank you so much Megan, for including me in this beautiful community of creative, slow-living moms! I’m so grateful for the chance to connect with like-minded souls who value intentional living and creativity in motherhood. This space you’re cultivating feels so nourishing, and I can’t wait to dive in and share in this journey with everyone. 💛
