Ready to start a Substack?
I’ve found my home on Substack- maybe you have too? For me, Substack has become this slow, mindful space where I can create whatever I want, my way- I’ve never felt freedom in a platform like this before.
That’s why I created this guide to help you determine if Substack is the creative home you’ve been looking for and if so- the first step to take to get started.
Inside this quiz + guide, you’ll learn all about Substack with examples to help you visualize what your home base here could look like.
The Easiest Way to Start Creating on Substack
Staring at a blank page? »»» Try recording your thoughts instead.
You don’t have to use the audio or video. But you can take that transcription and clean it up to be your post. No pressure. Just share what feels natural.
When I first got on Substack- I hadn’t written in a while. But I’d talked and shared for years. So I leaned in- turning my transcriptions into writings which in turn- made me a better writer.
Staring at a blank page rarely happens now (and I often write first instead of record first these days.) But when I do get stuck I just talk it out instead.
It’s easy to overthink that first post and never actually start. But it’s just about starting a conversation with future readers. Your first post doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to be YOU.
